People affected by leprosy live in many countries around the world.  Some countries have a higher incidence of leprosy than others.

The Leprosy Mission Northern Ireland (TLMNI) works with projects in six high risk countries:

India    Ethiopia

Bangladesh    Nigeria

Nepal    Mozambique

The Leprosy Mission Northern Ireland (TLM NI) is part of a Global Fellowship of over 200 projects in 33 countries around the world.

TLM NI supports projects in six countries in Africa and Asia that are transforming the lives of people affected by leprosy.

The Leprosy Mission has been working since 1874 to bring hope and healing to those affected by leprosy. Today we are a Global Fellowship of 31 countries working together to see Leprosy Defeated and Lives Transformed.

The Leprosy Mission Northern Ireland office used to be in Ulsterville Avenue, Belfast, but moved to Lisburn in 2006.

Our website used to be www.tlm-ni.org but we launched our new website www.leprosymissionni.org in 2025 – don’t worry, any old emails will still redirect to us.

Connect with The Leprosy Mission Northern Ireland across other platforms to see how you can play your part so together we can live in a world without leprosy.
